Classroom Rules of Conduct

Arrival to class:

·       Be in your seat before the tardy bell rings

Pencil sharpener:

·       Use upon entering the classroom daily

Drinks:

·       Get before beginning morning work

Entering the classroom:

·       Enter quietly

·       Place snack in bin

·       Turn in homework

·       Complete homework log

·       Begin your morning work

Exiting the classroom:

·       Clear desks (place materials away where they belong)

·       Sit quietly

·       Keep eyes on the teacher

·       Wait for line up call & dismissal by the teacher

Response to teacher’s signal:

·       Eyes looking forward on the teacher

·       Feet flat on the floor

·       Hands free, folded, and still

·       Ears actively listening

·       Mouths quiet

Using lockers:

·       Upon arriving to school

·       When preparing for lunch/recess

·       Upon being dismissed from school

Lavatory:

·       Once in the morning and once in the afternoon

·       Complete the lavatory log

·       Be quick and clean
